We have had gorgeous weather in Inverness the past few days... sunny and cloudy... around 65F... we're hoping it will hold until saturday although the weather reports are for showers... About Orkney by Julie Robb: Best to go in the summer to avoid a rough crossing, can still be like winter weather in summer (even worse than inverness).
