Right? Blue is traditional for the Bride in Scotland and Israel, Red for pretty much all of Russia, India and into China. Queen Victoria started the white thing because she was a teenager at the time of her wedding and because of that whole virginal thing, before that it was an excuse to get a new Sunday Best gown made for your trousseau and it was either navy, black, or grey....boring!

We thoroughly agree with you... weddings do NOT have to be white! Better to have something custom tailored to one's own taste. Reinvent the wedding gown!
